What happens in a discovery meeting?

Our discovery meeting will help you understand Ultra Living Custom’s design process, and provide a window into what’s possible in designing & building with us.

During our meeting, we’ll get to know one another and discuss:

• The reasons you are planning to build, how the property will be used, and who will live there – all important information to help us understand what's important for you for your home build.

• Details about your land (size, frontage, view lines, adjacent buildings, privacy, slope, trees, solar orientation, possible town planning considerations).

• Key elements you’d like to include in your home design (size, rooms & spaces, adjacencies, separation & privacy, built form/architectural style/façade/design preferences).

• Specifications & inclusions - any specific requirements and inclusions you have for the home (interior design elements, kitchen features, cabinetry, ceiling heights, pool requirements etc).

• Our custom design process – the steps and costs, meeting with our designers for your design brief meeting, and seeing your home design come to life.

We can explore on screen how the design might work spatially on your land.

From there, we will be able to discuss likely build costs for a potential home design with the inclusions you would like, and how this looks against your budget.

This meeting is designed to bring everything together — your land, your ideas, and your budget — so by the end, you’ll be in a well-informed position to consider if you’d like to design & build with Ultra Living Custom.
